Deck the Blogs Christmas Home Tour

And just like that the Christmas season is upon us friends, so that means it’s time for another blog hop!! This year was a bit challenging for me because my goal was not to buy a single new item. I wanted to use what I already had which as a decorator can be a struggle. I’m trying to be super responsible here friends since we are selling our home next year I’m trying really, I mean really hard to work with what I have. Thankfully I was still loving my decor from last year. My obsession transitions with the holidays from pumpkins to christmas trees, so you will be seeing a lot of christmas trees in pretty much every picture, so just know you’ve been warned.

Although I really wanted to purchase those gorgeous mercury glass Christmas trees that everyone was buying, I held myself back and instead decorated with my mercury glass candle sticks from two tears ago, along with some mercury glass look alike ornament garland that I got from the “Dollar” spot at Target last year. The only thing I do have to confess about buying is those cute gold place card holders. We will blame Jo for that one though.

Yes, I have a bit of a flocked obsession. I bought my trees, wreaths and garland from Walmart last year, they were such hit though WaMart has them again this season.

You all know I’m a neutral loving gal but I need my pops of red during the Christmas season, not much but just enough to give me some Christmas cheer and I love adding candles to make my home feel oh so cozy!!

Thank you so much friends for taking the time to check out my home all decked out for Christmas, hope you all enjoyed it. Don’t forget to check out the rest of the bloggers beautiful Christmas homes!! Just click on the banner and it will take you directly to the page!

Warm Wishes

  1. Allie, I loved the overall snow-ey look in your home. Gorgeous as always!
I have decorated my home for Christmas too but it doesn’t look as good as yours. I have quite a large number of salt lamps in my home so they are giving glowy look with all that Christmas decorations. I guess you should experiment your place with the salt lamp too. I bought them from Saltean.
Anways, So fun hoppin with you!
