Oh sweet fall how I’ve missed you. I love everything about this gorgeous season….the weather, the colors, the leaves, the sweaters, the cute boots, the smell of pumpkin candles and of course the decorating!! Talking about decorating, I am so honored to be a part of this fall home tour blog hop with 11 other amazingly talented bloggers. As you all know I am one week into the blogging world so when I was asked to be a part of this fall home tour blog hop I was like….ummm me, are you sure haha. So if you need some fall inspiration to get cha going, you have came to the right place my friends, because once you finish browsing here you have 11 other beautifully decorated fall homes waiting for you!!
So if you follow me on IG you know I typically don’t use much color throughout the year (neutral loving type of gal here). But fall gives me a bit of courage to explore and play around with those gorgeous fall colors that I love so much. Adding a bit of oranges and reds along with my favorite colors whites and greens makes for a very cozy feeling home. Makes me want to grab PSL and a chunky knit blanket while cuddling on the couch binge watching FRIENDS for the millionth time. So I hope this little home of mine gives you some fall inspiration for your home. Lets begin with the entryway…..
Come on in friends…..
This year I was really hoping not to have to shop for new decor, so I really tried hard to work with what I had from last year. I used pillows that I picked up from Target last season, some faux pumpkins and my go to, a magnolia wreath.
Now on the other side we have my awesome CraigsList find, my buffet table. I added some greenery, a magnolia wreath and some more faux pumpkins.
*Warning ,you will see a large amount of pumpkins in this post haha
My family definitely spends the most time in here so comfy is key! Comfy couch, comfy pillows and comfy throws pretty much sums up the decor in here.
This pillow is the cutest thing ever!!! Ali over at MustardSeedBeginings was so sweet and sent me over a fall package and this pillow pretty much sums up how I want to spend my fall.
…….yes more pumpkins friends haha I warned ya.
Although I love how real pumpkins look they can be quite pricey so I like to decorate with faux pumpkins to limit the amount of real pumpkins I have to buy each year. I get most of my faux pumpkins from Michaels and Target.
This is one of my most favorite areas in the house. I love opening up my french doors, sipping on my coffee (pumpkin spice flavored of course) while seeing the pups run around in the yard and taking in the sweet smell of fall.
My dining room is the space I love to decorate the most. I always start with this area first because it sets the tone for the rest of my house. It gets my decorative juices flowing. Little tip: Pick an area you feel is your favorite and start from there, I promise once you see one area finished the ideas will start popping in your head for the rest of your home!
See why I buy faux pumpkins, if I were to buy real pumpkins every year to keep up with my pumpkin obsession my hubby would probably turn me into one!
I love signs and this cutie of a sign from The Sign Yard Studio couldn’t have said it any better.
Another sweet gift from Ali over at MustardSeedBeginnings was this adorable scroll. It went perfectly in my kitchen.
And no fall decorating would be complete without some mums.
Can you tell I really like those magnolia wreaths haha I’m telling you friends they are the absolute best and they fit into every season.
I decided to add some real pumpkins in the kitchen mixed in with some faux pumpkins because well, who doesn’t love more pumpkins!!
